It was a truly wonderful experience. by
Christine S. Warner from Englewood, FL Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: The staff who took catering to your every need to a higher level & did it with a smile Cons: The coffee - it was on the WEAK side We found every staff member helpful, kind & always cheerful. Our cabin stewart remembered our first names which is impressive given the amount of guests he deals with on a daily basis & took notice of my husband's CPAP. Was concerned we had everything we needed for it's proper operation. Our cocktail waitress who also remembered who we were. The quality of cleaness & comfort of our cabin. Ship Quality

A ship full of Fun!! by
Charmaine B. from Miami, Fl Sailing date: Aug 2009Pros: Housekeeping - our cabin was cleaned up approx. 3 times per day. The bed covers were turned down at night and a different animal design made from the towels each night. Oh, and they left us chocolates each evening. Our servers in the main dining room were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Cons: Additon service charge. I could've easily forgotten that I was on the ocean - smooth cruising. The maintenace of the vessel was evident. Huge vessel! Ship Quality

Cozumel, MexicoTook a ride in a horse drawn carriage and spent some time in the shops. I didn't mind being at port because I had the option of doing activities on the ship or on land.
Key West, FloridaI had previously visited the Keys, so this stop was just a chance for me to walk around for a while. I wouldn't say it was a waste of time.

Great Cruise to See Many Islands by
Melis B from Long Island, NY Sailing date: May 2008Pros: Snorkling in Barbados with sea turtles Cons: Many rude people on ship Great cruise for exploring many islands. Ship was clean and fun.
However, one fallback was that there were long lines when it came to the buffet stations, espeically the omlette station because one person would stand on line and order 5 omlettes. Ship Quality

  average cruise ,economical. by
Alison M from Shrewsbury MA Sailing date: Mar 2008Pros: Balcony was a reasonably priced option. this is my favorite thing is looking out on my own private area Cons: Too many ports only 3 were really great. One day at sea would have made it more relaxing. I would not recommend wasting any money in dominica. On the trip to waterfall there were so many people you could barely walk up path. Ship Quality

Bridgetown, BarbadosI would recommend riding to the west coast and going to beach . We went to the blue Monkey and it was a great place to spend day. Beautiful beach
Dominicado not waste time on waterfall. I would recommend a quick ride aroud and then get back on boat. No beaches. This might be the port you plan to stay on the boat.
Basseterre, St. KittsTake a ride around the countryside or the train it is a beautiful island
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomasi would recommend the ferry to St John. It is definitely the prettiest beach in the world.
Philipsburg, St. MaartenSpend the day at orient beach. Rent a couple of beach chairs and umbrella and enjoy people watching. If you prefer without clothes you can walk down to far end of beach. the food is great in the restaurants on this beach.

  It was out Destiny! by
Susan C from Boston MA Sailing date: Nov 2007Pros: Food, organization of enbarking and debarking Cons: tip envelopes I was impressed with how simple and well organized it was to get on and off the ship from start to finish. The staff was always helpful and gave plenty of information to make the transition go as smooth as possible. Ship QualityThe ship is getting a bit dated but it was meticulously cleaned and well maintained. Some areas are starting to look tired (mirror in our bathroom was discolored and one of the panels in the celing was fallin in) . Dining/FoodFood was wonderful! My husband and I truly enjoyed the evening entertainment from the dining staff. Stateroom QualitySize was excellent, I wish we had a wet bar to keep our drinks cold....stateroom could be updated as I stated earlier. Location was perfect! Ship Staff QualityI'm always impressed by the 2nd day evwerybody knows your name. Very friendly...... Entertainment & ActivitiesI enjoyed the juggler. The idol show as cute.....Not a big fan of the dancing part, sorry.

The Worst Cruise I've Ever Been on!!!! by
Alicia R. from Manchester, NH Sailing date: Jul 2007Pros: Staff Was Friendly Cons: Everything Else I have been on 4 Cruises before this cruise and one was on this ship in 2000, and this was definitely the worst cruise I have ever been on, and IT WAS MY HONEYMOON!!! The whole ship was dirty and smelt of cigarettes. The first night while my husband was showering tiles fell off of the wall in the shower of our suite. There were barely any activities, and this is supposed to be a fun ship?? The food was HORRIBLE!!! Every person we talked to on the ship complained about how bad the food was, so I know it wasn't just me! The worst part of all was that my parents had sent us a honeymoon package and we never received it!!! When we went down to the information desk on the last day of the cruise(after we talked to my parents and found out that they had sent us the package) the woman at the front desk was very rude to us and told us that they sent it, but we never got it!!! They probably sent it to the wrong room, but how is that our problem??? I have cruised on 3 Norwegian Cruises and have never experienced what I did on this cruise. I will NEVER cruise Carnival again, only Norwegian!!! Ship QualityVery old and dirty Dining/FoodEveryone we talked to complained about how bad the food was!!! Stateroom QualityWe had a suite, it was an alright size, but tiles fell off of the wall in our shower. Ship Staff QualityThey were all very friendly except for the one woman at the information desk. Entertainment & ActivitiesNot many activities. The shows were boring.

5th yr. Wedding Ann. Celebration by
Latasha Sessoms from Clayton, NC Sailing date: May 2007Pros: The different islands we visited. Cons: The Food!!!!!! I really enjoyed the islands we went too, I became educated by the tour guides about their culture. I have never taken a vacation where i did nothing but relax. When i returned home from my trip, I schedule another cruise for Decemeber. I recommend everyone to get off the boat at each island and explore. I was very impress with the tours we booked thourgh the cruise line and the two we booked once we got to the island. We did find the tours you booked on the islands are much cheaper. Overall, I would recommend this ship to many people. Ship Quality
