What is the Vacation Outlet Affiliate Program?
The Vacation Outlet Affiliate Program allows you to place links to vacationoutlet.com on your website. By placing these links, visitors to your site can click through to Vacation Outlet and book cruises or vacation packages on vacationoutlet.com. For every purchase made from users who clicked through to vacationoutlet.com from your site, you will be paid a referral commission.

How does the program work?
The Vacation Outlet Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to our website. You do this by placing links on your site. Every time you refer a customer to us and that customer makes a purchase, you earn a commission. Every month that you have earned more than $25 in commission, we send you a check for your commission amount. |

Why should I join?
There are many reasons to join. Becoming an Affiliate is free, and you’ll make money with very little effort. As an Affiliate, you can add value to the content of your site. We take the customer order and handle all payments. |

How do I sign up?
First, you must read and accept the Vacation Outlet Affiliate Agreement. Filling out the online application form serves as your acceptance of this agreement. After your application is submitted, we will contact you via email to let you know if you’ve been accepted. Information on how to get started with the program will be included in this email. |

Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?
No. It’s absolutely free to join our Affiliate Program. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement. |

Can a website outside the United States be an Affiliate?
No. All websites must provide an address within the United States. All commission payment checks to Affiliates are in U.S. dollars. |

I operate more than one website. Can I still be an Affiliate?
Yes. You can have multiple sites as an Affiliate, with one Affiliate account that includes all of your sites. You can track the progress of each of your sites separately and will be paid with only one commission check. |

Is my website eligible to become an Affiliate?
Most sites will qualify to participate in the program. Anyone may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site’s membership at any time for any reason that Vacation Outlet deems necessary. |

For what reasons could my website be rejected?
Websites that contain the following will not be accepted into the Vacation Outlet Affiliate Program:
- adult-oriented content
- known spamming sites
- incompliance with any federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances
- defamatory, offensive, slanderous, insulting, or malicious content
- banner farms
- sites that promote discrimination of any sort, including but not limited to race, culture, religious affiliation, gender, age, physical handicap, marital status, or sexual orientation.

What are my responsibilities an as Affiliate?
All of your responsibilities are outlined in detail within the Vacation Outlet Operating Agreement. In general terms, you will post links to vacationoutlet.com on your website or in approved emails. Vacation Outlet will take care of the rest, including booking your referred customers' vacations or cruises, tracking your sales, and sending you a check for the commissions you earn. |

I don’t have a website. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, no. In order for us to accept you as an Affiliate, we must be able to view your website. |

Can I send promotional emails with Vacation Outlet affiliate links?
Vacation Outlet upholds a strict spamming policy. Websites that utilize their own user email lists must provide Vacation Outlet with a copy of their privacy policy and provide users with the ability to opt out of mailings. Any commissions earned through email campaigns that do not fit with the Vacation Outlet guidelines will be revoked. Any website found to be utilizing spam lists will be terminated from the Vacation Outlet Affiliate Program. |

Can I participate in other Affiliate Programs?
Yes. There are no limitations to what other programs your site can belong to, as long as the Vacation Outlet links are not positioned in a manner that is inconsistent with the agreed-to terms and conditions. |

How do I change my account information?
Once you have been accepted, you will be given a username and password to vacationoutlet.reporting.net. Through this site, you can keep your account information current. |

I’m already a member of the BeFree affiliate network. How should I apply?
If you already belong to a BeFree affiliate program with another merchant, you should go to affiliates.befree.com and log in with the username and password BeFree provided to you. From there, select Vacation Outlet as a merchant that you want to add. You’ll avoid having to fill out the application form again and will only have to remember one username and password for all the merchant programs to which you belong. Applying in this manner does not affect any criteria regarding acceptance into the Vacation Outlet Affiliate Program itself. |

Will becoming an Affiliate increase traffic to my site?
Our Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program. It is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site; however, it enhances your site with content, so your user return rate may be higher. |

How do I create links?
We have an automatic tag generator on vacationoutlet.reporting.net that creates HTML that you cut and paste into your website. It is easy to use, so even beginners can create links in seconds. The tag generator allows you to create a multitude of links to Vacation Outlet. |

Where should I place the links on my site?
You should place links where they are easy for your site visitors to find, such as your homepage. Some other areas you may want to place your links include your navigation bar and any other high-traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your site, your visitors will be more likely to make a purchase. Placing the links with relevant content will also increase click-throughs and the visitor’s likelihood to purchase. |

How often should I update my links?
Links can be updated at your own discretion. We will notify you if new types of links are available for you to choose from, or you can check vacationoutlet.reporting.net to see what other types of links may be come available to you.

How do I know how much commission I’ve earned?
On vacationoutlet.reporting.net, you can access reports that are updated daily on your site progress. Key measurements included are impressions, click-throughs, orders, shipments, and commissions earned. |

How often do I get paid?
We will send you a check for a percentage of the sales you referred to our site every month, provided you earned more than $25. |

Do I earn commissions on my own purchases?
Yes. When you buy products from us through your website, you earn the same commission on your purchase that you would from a visitor purchase. |

What about product returns?
If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. |

Who processes orders and handles customer service?
Vacation Outlet processes all of the transactions for the customers that you refer to our site. All you have to do is place links on your site. We do the rest! |

How will you know that the orders came from my site?
All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made. This is only possible, though, when you create all of your links with the tag generator on vacationoutlet.reporting.net. It is essential not to adjust the code provided by the tag generator. Vacation Outlet cannot guarantee accurate tracking, and therefore accurate commissions, if any code has been modified from what the tag generator has provided. |

How often can I run reports?
You can run reports daily, if you wish. Vacationoutlet.reporting.net is updated daily with the latest information about your site. |

I operate more than one website. Can you track them separately, but pay me with one commission check?
Yes. You can have multiple sites under one Affiliate account. You can create links and generate reports specifically for each site, but you will receive one commission check for all of your sites. To set up an account with multiple sites, please contact us at affiliates@vacationoutlet.com with the names and URLs of the additional sites. |

What happens if my Affiliate membership is terminated? Will I be paid for the commissions I have earned that month?
Depending on the grounds of termination, you may or may not receive the commissions you have earned. If the termination is a mutual agreement between you and Vacation Outlet, you will receive a check for commissions you have earned up until that point. If Vacation Outlet terminates your membership because of violations of the Vacation Outlet Affiliate Agreement, your commissions earned that have not already been paid out will be voided. |
